I ovulated sometime between the 23 and 24 of december. I use a fertility monitor and have been tracking ovulation. I had telltale signs of ovualtion (i get cramping like clockwork). I had intercourse during the week, and on the 23rd and definitely the 25th (possibly the 24th too)

Well here's my question My period was due on January 5th or 6th (I was a day early last cycle which never happened before). Well it didn't come so I took a test on the 6th and it was negative. My period showed up on the 7th it was brown and then pink but pretty light. I usually wear tampons (3-5 a day) but really didn't need one. I'd say I used the equivalent to one regular tampon from Sunday morning to Monday morning. On Monday I had a little bit of blood, but less than a half a tampon the whole day. A test on the 4th was negative That was it
Four days prior to my "period", i noticed a tinged mucas like discharge 2x when I wiped. Still very tired, light backaches, slight tummy upset, extreme irritability

Don't let the last post get you down. Seems to me you've done your homework and you are asking the right questions and providing the right details. I would take another test. The hormone levels increase every day so at some point, the test will be positive if you're pregnant. It sounds like you're fairly regular, so if a week goes by, and you don't get your period, check in with your doctor for a blood test. Blood tests are much more accurate. Good luck!

Those all sound like premenstrual symptoms. I too have heavy periods, but some months I only have four days of period or two days of heavy bleeding and two days of light bleeding; it all depends. If you got your period and you have a negative urine test, you probably are not pregnant. However, if you think you are, why not buy another test? The hormone should be higher by now if you are, and you should be able to get at least a faint line by now. Good luck!

I agree, they sound like presumptions. Sometimes when your hoping..... your body begins teasing you and it's annoying. But if I am wrong, congratulations!!! I would like to recommend you to OV-WATCH. sometimes we think were right about our ovulations dates when later we find out were totally wrong. Read up on it if it does not work out this time. I havent heard of an unsuccessful story so far. I am about to try mine this month and I am sooo excited.
