What is the best ball for the money on the market right now. That goes long and comes up hard, with lots of action.

I just got a Rampage last week. On average my score is about 60 pins higher every game now. It all really depends on how you throw it and how much curve you put on it if you will see a lot of action. It cost me about $190. I get a ton of action when I throw it correctly and hit the pocket. Still getting used to it though, so it can only get better :).

This site will show you how its weighted (It also only costs $100 here): http://www.bowlingball.com/Bowling-Ball-3219/brunswick-bvp-rampage.html

I like the Brunswick Defense zone for that kind of ball--late breaking and strong. It doesn't work well for extra-dry conditions though, so you might want a second ball for that. I carry an Ebonite Gyro along with the Defense Zone (the Gyro doesn't fit what you were asking for--it has a more steady curve), and one of the two will work no matter where I go. I find that total pin action usually depends more on my action than the ball, but DZ's late break makes it a little more like a hand grenade.
