Why do women complain so much about the toilet seat being left up? I mean we don´t complain about it being down, we have tu put it up, and you have to put it down, what´s the big deal?

We have to put it up, otherwise, some drops will en up on the seat, then you will com to seat on a wet seat, do you prefer that?

I heard that it's because it's not nice to sit down on the toilet with the seat up. Really? I mean how dumb you have to be, to sit without looking? What if the seat cover was down too? Do you just pee all over the cover?

Darkness is no reason, I too go sometimes at 4am, with no lights, and there is no problem finding out the position of toilet seat.
If it really is that horrible to seat and splash, with more reason you should be used to check it.
I live in Mexico, women here don´t complaint about this nonsense, only in USA movies and TV shows, we Mexican men, hear about these complaint

I am totally with you on this one. What is wrong with these women, haven't they got anything serious to complain about? If you every come to my house feel free to leave the toilet seat in any position you want and if I want it down I can do it myself thanks.

There is genuine hygene reasons why both seats should be down during flushing but I don't think that's what bothers these women so girls.........come on, in all the sum of male failures.........can't we just let them have this one!!! please!

Please put some thought into your question, Women Sit for everything, Men sit for half of what we do, and if you the kind of person who gets up a 4am and doesn't like turning on bright lights then it might be nice to know that you won't fall in, plus a toilet with a seat down looks better, and yes you do care or you would never clean you house (if you don't you a slob).

OK being a man means your a suppose to be a gentleman not a selfish man. You are suppose to look out for the ladies. If you are too lazy or don't give a crap about women then by all means think that it is their problem and leave the lid up. While you are at it be lazy about the ladies in your life in all the other areas too. Scratch yourself, it itches. If they don't like it then they don't have to look. Belch after every meal it makes the little women think the meal was good and you had to burp anyway.

Women complain because they think it is inconsiderate.

The solution is for everyone to keep the seat and the lid down once they are finished doing their business.

If you haven't noticed, a toilet isn't the most attractive thing when the lid is up.

Be a gentleman, and don't complain.

Put the seat and the lid down, ... you will get more nookie.

At 4 in the morning you aren't thinking of looking to see if the seat is down. I don't know about everyone else but I can barely focus at that time of the morning but nothing wakes me up quicker than falling into the cold water because someone left the seat up.

Men face the toilet to pee. You're looking at it while you lift, unzip, do your business, dab, flush, all with one hand. Whle facing the toilet. Why can't you just extend the action to put the seat down when you finish?
Women don't face the toilet. And no, you'd feel damn quick if the lid was down.

I go away the rest room lid up. the reason being that that is rude and gross to emphasise absolutely everyone to the contact the rest room seat in the experience that they don't desire to. yet another reason is opposite of an same reason getting used to positioned it down. in case you regrettably make a stink and also you position the lid down, the stink continues to be for hours and resurfaces even as someone opens the lid. in case you go away the lid up, then if someone desires to bypass today, convinced, they do have soreness, yet in the different case the scent dissapates. So if a celebration, then i might want to make certain leaving the lid down although then you definately have the concern last of having the subsequent client having to the contact the rest room lid which feels very unsanitary to me! yet it type of feels the overall public sense more effective perfect etiquette is to go away the lid down.

I'm a woman and I have often wondered why too. I think it must have something to do with women not wanting to touch the seat. But if the men have to touch it, I don't see the problem with us touching it too.

I grew up with a male sibling so checking the seat each time is second nature to me. I never complain about it b/c I don't really care myself.

LOL.... We as women, knowing the home is ours and we are kind enough to share it with you... We want things done our way...we also like to complain a lot about petty things men do/don't do..

So please put the toilet seat back down,( this is the way you found it) and pick up your dirty socks...(your dirty socks smell up the bedroom)

Hope this helps you to understand..
