Is it because they are mostly lawyers, why do lawyers try to distinguish between Civil and Criminal attorney's, are they not all Criminals?

Good question. Sucks doesn't it? I think most start out with good intentions and beliefs. Problem is they need money and a political party backing to go anywhere. So they slowly start selling their souls to get some financial backing from companies and back a parties agendas. The next thing you know they're just another politician. It's time to give the flag back to the American people.

becoming a politician brings a sense of power, power leads to corruption. Our government is corrupt because there is no true accountability. We as the people have no true power, we must get angry about how our country has become. Why risk the future being caught up in the past? if they worried less about their image and using the facade of ethics and practice what they preach to the people that put them in office in the first place.
People don't vote a politician into office for his good retirement plan!

I would trust a lawyer more then a dirty politician

I live in the country,and there are a lot of city people for what ever reason,drop their unwanted dogs off near here, the dogs,after just a short time,hook up with other dogs that are "street smart" and before long,so is the new dog, You are your friends.., Thus goes the way of the "new" politician......If you follow my drift.........

Because there's to much money inolved. say a politician is supposed to stop Pepsi from polluting the water...Pepsi would simply "Donate" money to that politicians supposed fund for re-election and surprise..surprise the politician turns a blind eye to the pollution..hence he is dishonest and yes they are all criminals..they only work for the rich and powerful people.

The phrase "honest politician" is an oxymoron - they can't be used together. All politicians are liars and crooks, but not all liars and crooks are politicians. To call them a politician is an insult.
