im having trouble on deciding and i was just wondering if any of the starter pokemon is best to beat the story. or to beat the bosses. please help!

Red=Meowth Personality Quirky with a partner as Pikachu
Blue=Skitty Personality Hasty with a partner as Pikachu

Pikachu, Since there's alot of Flying types, and Squirtle to take care of the rest of the bosses. Try to teach Squirtle ice beam if you can get it.

i would choose pikachu because his attacks are the strongest. he learns thunderbolt, which kills most enemies in one hit. i chose him and i beat the game in a week.
