Yeh - it's a girl thing. I suppose, yeh, you want to look the best I guess. It's always nice to have a couple of fat mingers in the office - does wonders for your self confidence.

It's true, women DO notice how other women dress, and their behaviour. I used to be accused of paying far more attention to getting ready for a night out with my female friends than with my boyfriend.

And I suppose, if I am honest, yes, we do worry that others might look better than we do.

I'm not like that. i respect other women and the way they dress. if they decide to dress "too provocatively" it's their choice.. but my only wish is for them to know tea kwon do or karate before something bad happens.

other women that rat off on clothing just do so because they're jealous. "ooh look at that hooch".. *well i bet you won't fit into her extra large jacket*.."look at that sl*t! she's totally exposing her stomach" again.. *ha well you're not in a bikini shape are ya?*... see how easy this is?

i'm telling you! next time when you go with your gf and she says "look at her frizzy hair".. i bet she's just jealous because that other girl has full hair.

i think that women get dressed up not to impress guys but to domineer other women by saying 'look i look better than you therefore i am' which is a load of old tosh. it's a kind of neanderthaul thing, a pack thing so that the women can be top ***** or something.
thats what i think anyway

Yes it is true - we don't dress for men, we dress for other women. Not many women will admit to this, but we like to invoke either approval or awe in other women!

O definitely!! We look at each other more than we look at the guys! "That haircut is really cute, wonder if it would work on me, love that dress, gotta find out where she got it, that make up looks really hot, gonna try that next time I go out. " We check each other out at work, in clubs, at the mall - we get real life inspiration from each other!!

i would say a large number of women are obsessed with clothes, fashion and other people's life.

however, i wouldn't generalize. i, for example, couldn't possibly care less

Yup. Did. Sometimes I'd compliment one of them. More often, my co-workers wore things I didn't like, so I'd keep my mouth shut.
