Unicorns are not "mammal births", nor do they come from eggs. Unicorns appear mysteriously out of misty things.....like fog, or ocean spray, or spray from a water fall. Unicorns are actually more of a water based elemental...that is why they can disappear so fast! I don't know where they are before they come out of the mist....possibly some type of unicorn factory?????? LOL

Cat has always heard that unicorns arrived same like horse or cow...live birth. Can't imagine an egg that big!

I agree with Metalhead, except the egg I saw was purple with pink spots.

The eggs are really bright purple and about a foot wide and a foot tall.

They come out looking like a horse at first and they grow their horn after about a month. They are born fairly similar to a horse or zebra.

I would'nt think so because I would assume that they are mammals and are born live. If they did that would be one hell of an egg!
