Not to be mean or anything, he just not into you. Let him go and try to move on. He's just keeping you around until he decides what to do with himself. It doesn't matter if he's bi, straight or gay. Ask yourself if he left to be with a nice, and understanding woman would you still be asking this question.

If he likes both men and women, he is more accurately a bisexual. Or he could be pretending to be interested in women even though he is really gay (he might be in denial or feell uncomfortable expressing his true desires to people who might not understand).
It is probably best if you let this one go and keep looking for a man who is more committed to sharing your interests (ie, a heterosexual relationship).

I would advise you to run in the opposite direction as fast as you can because you don"t have the right makeup to compete with a man, and I think your friend is really hiding his natural tendencies because he is not ready to admit to who he really is.

I don't think he'll ever be just yours. Sorry. It's not just that he's comfortable with either sex, he needs both, and apparently more often men. Nothing you can do about it, and nothing personal, I'm sure.
