Good question. I agree that politics is just completely screwed. Free thought is looked down upon. It seems like both sides are more interested in discrediting the other side than they are in actually getting something done. I was happy when the Dems got control of the Senate and House, but now am starting to realize that it does not matter much which side has the power, as both are corrupt and self-serving.

Because the American people belong to 37 nations, while the dem and republicans owe their loyalty only to the United Statesian political parties.

It is a form of idol worship similar to Monarch worship.
Shallow individuals long to be ruled by a King and passionately work to praise the Red King or Worship the Blue King.
America and the constitution is trivial to them.

Because they are corrupt, they only want to stay in power.
We need stronger term limits for Congress. Like one term thats it, higher turn over, less corruption, our Congress wouldnt be beholden to special interest groups so they can get re-elected.

Because they understand as long as they stay in congress the lobbyists will keep bribing them. Money &power!That is why we have illegal immigration!Face it,its all about THEM SELFS!
