If it is your local pub, what the hell, go as you please, if your bf doesn't like you for who you are in your local, then whats the point, if it is a place you have ever been nefore, just put abit of lippy on, dress neatly etc.. Do the usual thing you would normally do if you were going somewhere different.

make a bit of an effort, you know brush your hair and put on a bit of lippy - I would do it for myself anyway but guys always appreciate it I think.

As long as you look half presentable, go as you are. Your boyfriend should think you look good no matter what you wear, so be yourself.
