How about some alternative energy project? Google John Bedini. He has a little motor that can run on a 9v battery almost indefinitely.

create your own moldy biohazard .
Ask for the help of your cham teacher.
take four sterile petree dishes line each with the special fluidkeep one as your control then take three sterile conton swabs and swab different doornobs in the different parts of your school to see where you wouldn't want to hang out.

make sure you follow the scientific method or esle the judge won't even look at you.

You can biuld an electric motor, it's quite simple, you just need a batery a magnet, copper coil, some rubber bands and paper clips.
