How often should I run virus detection, back up files, and clean cookies in a computer? Thanks! ;)

as many times as you want..

I do it everyday. (Delete cookies/temp files and so on)

I do not backup often unless it is critical information..

If it is critical information..everyday backup is important


If you are on DIAL UP, do not clean your temp files everyday..it could make your connection slower.

I like to preform these on a weekly basic. By doing this I have had no problems with my computer. I also do a defragment too. I hope this helped answer your question.
