Last night i was under a lot of stress, so i decided to masturbate in order to relax. However before i was able to do so i noticed blood on the head of my penis, around the opening. As of last night there has not been any more bleeding, nor any detectable blood in my urine. I am also on accutane for acne, so my skin is really dry(everywhere) as a result. This has only happened once before, and that was when i was on a previous course of accutane. I went to see my doctor and he said it was erosion on the tip of the penis and had prescribed (antibacterial) ointment. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and what advice you might have. Currently i am just moisturizing the area and drinking lots of juice.

i forgot to mention, that i do not have any std's because aside from masturbation i am not sexually active and the previous time this happened, the doctor said i had an erosion on the tip of my penis and proceeded to prescribe antibacterial ointment.

hey, i take accutane as well and the same thing happens to me. the tip has very little blood sometimes and my penis gets so dry that the tip closes shut sometimes. It sucks, but once you get off the accutane it will all go away.

i am no man, but i can say that maybe u should not worry much anymore. u have seen ur doctor and taking action re ur situation. and drinking plenty of water is best way to help in body dehydration and lessen dryness. yes moisturizer or jelly is good for dry area. wish u well.

my husband had this happen and he ended up having a uti. i would flush your system by drinking cranberry juice and they sell at the drugstore azo which helps alot. or try bacitracin and keep the area clean. have you been tested for any STD's? just a thought hope it helps.
