Most children go to school unwillingly, so why do the grown-ups believe that they have to pile on as many rules as they possiably can. And by adding on all these rules it just makes students more irritated and disruptive. They could at the least make it a plesant experience instead of making us feel like were in jail. What do you think?

To answer your question, they have rules so that they can be in control of you.
Ok, so you want to know about school? Listen up.
All you idiots posting answers on here saying that school is for your better good don't know anything, and you'll most likely never amount to anything. Futhermore, when you die, nobodys gonna remember you.
Back to the topic. Now, most idiots see school like this, they think it's:
- to make good people
- to make each person his or her personal best
- to enable a person to get a good paying, safe, and secure job
- enables a person to contribute to society
That is what everyone is fooled into thinking. However, nothing can be futher from the truth. These are the real reasons that school systems are around and why everyone is forced to go:
- to bread and train a standardized citizenry
- to produce the ideal servant by molding young minds only to fit the needs and demands of employers
- to conform large masses of people into a predictable labor force of corperate consumption.
What you need to do is start thinking for yourself and not listening to the useless things they teach you at school.

I think we even though school can be tough, but I would rather be in the school with my friends than out on the street by myself later on, when my parent can no longer provide me shelter. ^o^ So to me when I think of it that way at least all the rules is worth it for all of the stuff I'm learning.

That is just what I think beacause I know not everyone sees it my way. I mean my friends thinks school is okay, but they hate it for all the rules.

Thank for asking this question, I'm glad I got to express my opions and thoughts to you.

Rules exist everywhere. In some cases grown-ups go to work unwillingly and feel like their in jail.

But how else are we going to buy you food, clothes and shelter?

Rules are everywhere, Schools have to discipline students somehow, That's just like you have to sign a piece of paper in order for them to spank your child.
