I can use my mobile phone for email, of course, but it's a limited screen, and I *don't* want a "smart" phone, I think a phone should be a phone and a PDA should be a PDA (separate items!) So I have an HP 2215 (larger screen than phone). I use it, on the road, dialup. But when I try to get to Yahoo! email (or also gmail email) I get "page not found" (I guess the 2215 can't handle the gui...). The 2215 can handle all sorts of other websites. Does anyone know of any open-source or other free software (or, just simply, a secret url) I can use to get to my emails while on the road, with my HP 2215?

Try using the mobile version of Yahoo and Gmail. I've used them on my not-so smart phone and they do the basics pretty good. They are basically simplified versions of the original GUIs.

For Google try the address http://www.google.com/pda
