about five foot tall, it's actually ronnie corbett who plays the part, but they just make him look bigger with stilts, mirrors and reverse camera angles....it's more likely robbie coltrane with the same stunts though

They don't, the rest of the cast is three feet tall! I know cos I went to audition for Ron Weasley and they said I had to be a midget! :) I'm five feet tall, and that's the tallest I've felt in a long time - it felt good :)

Well in film its 8 ft tall so its edit to make him taller on camera, so kids who role to spoke to Hagrid have to be look up to him thinking that he is 8 ft tall. so all down to Technicolour to editing the scene into film, real life he is only short that 8 ft height. Very clever artists who did the graphic on computer!

hes pretty big to strt with so a lot is wearing bigger clothes wearing the thick giant hair makes him look taller and the rest is either slight camera angles and slightly taller shoes
