I sometimes think the media are trying to portray celebrities as being "just like you and me". So they chose somebody who was on the complete opposite scale for dramatic effect. Add to that the idea that we all just love to see a "celebrity" flawed, well - it would probably not be so hard to find fault with Miss Goody - it is called the "media-monster gone bored"
She is not a celebrity but the medias choice for highlighting the above (if only we could make money the same way though!)

More to the point why do people moan when we can't win anything at sports any more when we applaud the likes of Jade Goody for being as ignorant etc as she is. Just shows where we are as a nation these days.
I personally can't wait for the day when she takes a beach holiday and Greenpeace turn up with a big rope to tow her back out to deep water!!!

You are probably not the only one, but I personally like her. She has made a name for herself by being popular. She is a celebrity because she appears a lot on tv and is always in the media spotlight. She is a girl who had a really bad upbringing but has made something of herself and she should be admired for that. Carol Malone, who has been very spiteful in her articles about her has gone on about her constantly since she has been out saying that she is a kind, sweet girl and Ken actually indicated that she was pretty intelligent. Saying you don't like her is a bit unfair do you not think, considering you don't even know her?

Sad but true, the modern way of getting famous is through reality TV. I/m 22 & I think it's pathetic, but people my parents age & proper celebrities must wonder what is going on.

For someone to ask Jermaine Jackson, to his face, whilst looking directly at him, if he is black, can't even call themself human. Jade Goody is a fcukin'goomer. And fcuk me, her mother is just as fcukin' gormless.
This country needs fcukin' help if they are what we call celebrities.

I really liked Jade goody. I am now so sick of her it is unreal. Everytime I come on this bloody website everyone is on about her and her mongole family, she is all over the telly and I am now in your gang! She sucks ***!!

i like her, honest, and very funny , and speaks her mind even if the wrong words come out and trys to understand simple things, she has guts to get on in her live , and do things which other people would rather stay in bed !! well done jade

I think because she's actually made something of her life. She has the biggest selling perfume in the uk, she did have a beauty business that didn't work out, she has several tv programmes and she's in the papers all the time.... now why is someone like Pete Doherty a celebrity, he's a lowlife......

Jade is a pig with no brain and Jo and Danielle are the chaviest looking b*****s I have ever seen.
Jo is a loser and isn't even a celebrity and Danielle is just a gold digging *****. Jade is a wannabe celebrity.
She brings shame to the UK.
