1. That there are more majority white colleges in the US than majority black ones?

2. That whites are more than free to attend majority black colleges, they are not “black only”?

3. That BET was created in response to MTV (which at the time only showed white people and “white” music) and is now owned by white people, so is NOT for blacks, by blacks?

4. NAACP was for ALL colored people, at a time when none had rights?

5. Affirmative Action states that NONE be judge on their race, ethnicity, gender or sexual preference? It is NOT unqualified people “taking” others’ spots? That if a student gets into a college that they are not “qualified” for, they will have to drop out?

To me, (1) racism is racism, and (2) racism towards whites would be like some cultures assuming a “wide eyes” is wicked and ignorant. Or a white person going into a bad neighborhood and getting shot, just because they were white and the person hated them, without even knowing their name.

Funny how RACISM is just seething from every "point" you made.

could it be that black people are more racist than any other race out there? You made several comments about the separation of the races, hence, not at all attempting to dispell the distinct line that you claim is drawn between the races.

Why are there "white" and "black" colleges anyways? Isn't that the point that should be bothering you? Segregation was outlawed after the Civil War. I do agree that there are still several forms out there, but it is NOT only against the black community, and for the record, black people seem to be even hating on their own race, so what's that about?

I am a white girl who has been discriminated against my entire life because of my looks as well. I don't look old enough, I don't look wise enough, I don't look like I have lived the hard life I have. But I don't take that personally - some people are just ignorant and choose to live that way. I go about my business and keep living, without the made-up thought in my head that EVERYTHING and EVERYONE I come in contact with really means something else than what they are saying, i.e. are racist.

A lot of times I have seen where people are not racist at all and are actually just afraid they are going to be sued because someone of another race took some sort of offense to what was said or done. It's not always the way some of the races want to make it seem.

Hate is hate - there is no color boundary. Instead of acting like every white person has the advantage (which they do not, ever heard of "white trash"?) over a black person, why not attempt to overcome what you perceive as only obstacles for the black folks? If you really want to get real at all, you will realize that money talks and BS walks, no matter what race or color you are. Welcome to America.

1) If whites are indeed the majority then of course there will be more majority white colleges, that's not racism it is the law of averages.

2) I don't know enough about the subject to give an honest answer but I don't see whites whenever I drive by Spellman, or Morehouse everyday on my way to work, maybe they are invited and not let in because of their race sounds like segregation to me.

3) BET not racist, are you kidding? Watch any of their comedy shows they say things about blacks that would outrage the black community if a white said it, and they also say blatantly racist things against whites. Why are they allowed to get away with such racism? Because it is on BET.

4) Now everyone has rights, why do we need the NAACP anymore? They are only interested in Jesse and Al's checkbook and turn a blind eye to the problems facing black America dropout rates, teen pregnancy, poor work ethics, improper speech etc.

5) That is the equal opportunity act not affirmative action. Affirmative action does take jobs and place unqualified people in them just because of race or gender.

To further comment on your closing, it isn't racism it is however it is your ignorance and white people do get shot all the time in black neighborhoods because they are white.

3:What is white people music? I like all kinds of music. music is music tome. MTV in some ways better the BET because they all part of the world( true life). I think BET should change there name to PCET(People of Color Entrainment Television) because not only black people watch, work or on the network shows.

2: I didn't know there where black only colleges how boring how can you learn to work with other people different then you and that sound a bit segregated college to me.

I do not hail formthe USA - I am form Scotland, but from what I see on TV etc - The black people seem to be doing OK. ie Condo Rice, Colin Powell,Jesse Jackson,Stevie Wonder, Bill Cosby, Will Smith the list goes on. If there still exists racsim in the USA then it is a sad day for that country. We are led to believe that the USA is the land of the free - Don't they mean free for every white person

I accept your points 1-4, but I'm not sure what you are saying in 5... there are real examples out there where less qualified minorities were given preference over more qualified whites based SOLELY on their minority status. The very term "affirmative action" is opposite of "equal opportunity."

"5. Affirmative Action states that NONE be judge on their race, ethnicity, gender or sexual preference?"

then it should state just that, but that isnt what it does, it gives different treatment for different races, that to me equals racism, why should someone who is white have to have a better score or GPA to get into a college than a minority? tell me how that isnt racism

well the problem is that america is not america anymore... to many illegal people and crap like that. the racist problem partly comes from that and THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO STOP GETTING HIGH BEHIND A DUMPSTER AND DO SOMETHING...the racism against blacks is b/c there was slavery(WHICH IS GAY) along time ago and some people never got smart and just hate other people.for some people around the world not just here they hat people just to hate them, like the iraqies and them hate USA just to hate us. I AM WHITE AND NOTT RACIST. IF UR RACIST UR A DUMB***.
