a family that is close to me consists of the usual husband n wife and 2 daughters and a sun all under the age of 7. The wife pretty much does everythin with the husband ocassionly cooking the kids tea. he is self employed but aint worked for 6 months and are living off what they made on a house sale and are now renting...of course the money has nearly gone
other point.... he dont wanna work for anyone although he cant be bothered to do what he is self certified to do......wehat would you do if you were the wife? [oh n by the way...he thinks hes in the right and knows it all and why should he have to work for someone he thinks he knows more than!!!!!!

Yikes, I was in that marriage - for 18 years. It sucked bad. I finally got out last year and I've never been happier. Men like that can sap the strength right out of even the most competent and optimistic woman. I was so anxious all of the time - and so worried that money would run out. Now, I still worry sometimes about money, but I know that I can earn enough to keep us okay. My ex, on the other hand, still only works sometimes, even though he is a lawyer. He's fine with just living in a trailer and has no ambition to get out at all!

Are you working???? Why would you agree to sell your home and live off the proceeds? You need to let this man know he is clueless. You have three kids to raise, how is he going to feed them and clothe them when the money runs out. You have a say in in matters too, use your words!!!!!

i think let him make his own finances . obviously it worked out if they can live off it. sitting idle for 6 months is a big no no for me tho. id buy and sell another house, just to make like 5 grand. if it was his wife selling houses, then he should work.

get a job leave him at home with kids. people only get away with what you let them. he'll go crazy with three kids at home n u making all the money!
