My two favourite Countries! Both multicultural, both amazing country side.

There is nothing boring about Britain.

Fish&Chips in the rain vs Surfing .... you got to decide.

If you want to escape the cold this time of year head south.

Great Britain is soon to become Mediterranean for late Spring and Summer temperatures. Apart from heat and sun bathing, for that lifetime 'wow' factor, you should consider walking in West Wales and Western Ireland. Add to that some trips to the countryside of the Peaks and Northumberland. Don't go on holiday to roast, get down to the English Tourist Board offices and get a proper holiday of a lifetime! By the way, the beer is bound to be better!

Boring Britain - in the summer.

Sunny South Africa...just skip Johannesburg, Pretoria...pretty much anywhere except Capetown...but mind the people taking their baths and washing their laundry and doing their 'business' at the swimming beaches.

Capetown is absolutely beautiful and so is a lot of SA. You just have to take the good with the bad. Crime is bad there and crime against tourist happens often. So if you go, be on your guard and follow any local advice to the letter.

Why not see Britain and then hop over to the EU for a bit?

Boring Britain any old day. All that sunshine can't be good for you. Give me some chips wrapped in a newspaper and I'll stand under an umbrella in the pouring rain at the end of a pier for hours.

Give me sunny South Africa any day. I lived there for 30 years and am utterly homesick in this foul-weathered country with its government as corrupt as South Africa's.

Sure it's racist - apartheid in reverse - palefaces are discriminated against, but the construction boom means the Mbenzes have got to bring back experienced whites.

They've made their millions - now they can afford to.

in this one case of ZImbabwe i'm afraid i might want to ought to agree. Britain performed the component of a 2-confronted coward with reference to her South Rhodesian Colony and each thing Ian Smith stated might want to take position, did take position. i'm sorry, yet Britain is at fault, yet likely no longer for the same causes that the ANC say.... the in common words RIGHTFUL RULER IN AFRICA IS THE LION OF JUDAH.
