no, it makes your place of employment a terrorist. if you cant get a day off for MLK then they obviously hate freedom. Notify the president

No all that means is that you needed to work on that day my mom worked on MLK day, all im saying is nothing bad is going to happen to you.

No, not at all! Some places still have to run for business. Heck I might have needed something from the store yesterday, I can't expect everyone to be out parading and celebrating. Martin Luther King only wanted equal rights and to nix segregation. He didn't mean for anyone to not work on a day to celebrate his dream. Your simply honoring him by being kind and helpful to all races. Ignore anyone who tells you different.

lots of people didnt have the pleasure of being off on MLK day..if it werent for those people who went to work who are truckers etc and bring supplies we would be in trouble..

lol. no, plenty of ppl did. sum acted like it wasnt a real holiday. this is the first year ever that i didnt see a parade...b/c im not in my home city right now. i was shocked by the reaction of ppl to his bday. many places were still up and running...that was wierd to me. but i too had to keep on wit my job...studying, but i dont feel like a terrorist

no. i went to work too. i didn't want to lose my job. there would be no receptionist in the office if i wasn't there. no if you asked...if you had attended a Al-Zarqawi seminar, then maybe your answer would be yes.
