Wajid Khan will hopefully be properly investigated by the RCMP for election fraud. Probably you saw the news yesterday about how he funded his own campaign with an outrageously large loan from his car dealership. There is a large chance that his financial dealings there were illegal and constitute fraud.
Beyond that, there are some very mysterious workings going on in Wajid's political life.
It was Wajid Khan himself who tipped off the RCMP into investigating the 17 people who were arrested for supposedly wanting to blow up Parliament. The main guy arrested seems to have been a political opponent in his Wajid's own community.
The RCMP were the ones who supplied and delivered the fertilizer to the men just hours before arresting them.
It's very curious that Wajid is so connected to that "terror plot" considering that "Wajid Khan is also chair of the caucus committee on Bill C-36 (the security legislation put in place following the 9-11 attacks). [from his own website]".
Then Wajid goes on a special mission for Stephen Harper, which is quite extraordinary, considering he was a Liberal at the time. Wajid promised a full report on affairs in the Middle East. Along with Israel and Lebanon, Wajid visited Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Curiously, it was in Egypt, Syria, and Jordan that (at least) four innocent Canadians were imprisoned and tortured. After the victims returned to Canada recently, one of them said he was tortured into admitting a plot to blow up Parliament. Hmmm... I wonder if Wajid was in those countries to collect those tortured confessions....
Now Wajid and Harper refuse to release the findings of the report, or even who he talked to in those countries. It's not hard to figure out why.
Wajid claims to have been a good friend of Paul Martin. I'd say he's a serious backstabber. I'd like more investigation into the possibility that it was Wajid himself who leaked the trust fund changes during the last election that toppled the Liberals. Wajid was never a Liberal. Wajid has always been a spy.

He will not be investigated and he will be re-elected. Canada has had it with the Liberals. This "investigation" is a prime example. If he is guilty, he was A Liberal when he did it. Dion is making it an issue because he is a control freak and he didn't get his way. They were hiding this while Khan was a Liberal as it would look bad on them. He switches and lo and behold, they are all over it.
PS Did Belinda consult the people who elected her?
Major update Khan cleared of wrongdoing.

I take a certain offense when people defect from their party. I believe their should be a formal "town hall" meeting to discuss this with the people who represent, after all are essential hired by them to represent their interests, and values. (many of which are expressed by the party the people voted for)
I wouldn't vote for a candidate that wasn't doing the job they were hired to do. If I vote for a liberal I want a liberal. If I wanted a conservative or NDP member I would have voted for one in the first place.

This guy and David Emerson are by far and away my biggest complaint about the Harper government. We were promised an accountable government and look at this crap. That's TWO by-elections that should have been called.
It is time for recall legislation and why not? It works just fine in British Columbia.

I will not vote for him in next election like lots of other voters. what he did is for personal gains. Harper needs seats in ON, and will do anything to keep him in his inner circle.
