Why send them from Yahoo? Just send them from this page for free:

If you still want to, you can send them text messages from your Yahoo E-Mail or any other E-Mail by E-Mailing --
[e-mail] (hold your mouse over to see the full address ... it ends in .com )
Just replace the 2125551212 with their cell phone's area code and phone number. You're limited to 160 characters though so you'll have to keep it short, unless it will wrap it between multiple messages!
