My apartment is a small 2 bedroom....All electric! And my normal light bills, run from $39.00-$45.00, but this last one was $86.00!!!! I liked to S---, my pants when I saw that bill !!! I even called the light company and asked them if there was some sort of mistake,, you know!!! But, apparently there wasn't!!! So, my family & I are making lots of cut back's!!! To get our bill down!!! My phone bill is a set rate of $38.00, and I get 300 minutes of calling long distance anywhere in the United States, except our own state.... So, any long distance calls in my state, I just use my cell phone for.... Which is very seldom...... I have no gas bill. at all...... My apt., is all electric!!! And where I live in KINGMAN, Arizona, the cable is included in our rent!! And my rent is $445.00..... So, there you have it...... Oh, and we have a basketball court, 2 playgrounds, for the kids, and a swimming pool !!! Kid you not !!! But, the cost of living is lower here, and so are the wages!! The minimum wage is $6.00 an hour, here, I do believe...... So, things are a bit different here, than where I'm from Long Beach Calif!!! The cost of living in Cal, is OUTRAGEOUS!!!! Now. in comparison to when I was a child growing up there!!!

Good question! I live in Indiana and phone runs me around $50 a month, gas (on an average) around $80 a month and electric (depending how hot it becomes in the Summer and run the air conditioner) averages around $40 a month. Cable is around $60 month.

We live in NE and are on even payments for gas and electric. We pay $35 for gas, $59 for electric and around $90 for extended cable (channel 1-71) and Internet. I think we're getting ripped off for cable but thats all there is out here unless we go dish which is even more expensive.

i will basically checklist my "effortless" month-to-month utilities in an house placed in Hollywood for a pair: a million. gas: $12.00; 2. Water: $30.00; 3. electrical energy: $25.00. different "non-effortless" non-compulsory utilities may be: telephone landline, cellular telephone, pager, television and internet connectivity. sturdy success!
