And the GOP doesn't want to "control your media entertainment"? All of the Internet regulations -- done by Republican legislatures. Media "deregulation" (which just allows big corporations to monopolize media in a particular market) is a completely republican idea. The GOP wants to get rid of Internet network neutrality, silencing independent voices, too.
Choose your doctors? I dunno, but it's under GOP health care "reform" that I have fewer choices with my HMO and health "savings" account. I can't get checkup treatment because I'm afraid of how much it will cost.
Steal your money? Hmm... I'd say the false Iraq war and the proffiteering by Haliburton constitutes stealing my money. I'd say the tremendous overprofitting by Exxona nd other oil companies constitutes stealing my money. I'd say that the tax cuts for the richest 1% of Americans while plunging us into interminable debt that will be left on the shoulders of working people constitutes stealing my money. I'd say that legislation ending powers of unions to cooperatively bargain while funneling money into stockholders, and excessive executive compensation constitutes stealing my money.
"Tell you when you can speak and you can't." This is the most outrageous claim yet. The Democrats, if any party, are the party of free speech. The GOP wants a constitutional amendment to ban flag burning. The GOP wants to force the federal government to teach "abstainence only" education to kids, to adults (!), and even to those struggling with AIDS in Africa. And worse yet, the GOP labels ANYONE, ANYWHERE who voices disagreement with the current administration's policies as anti-American and supporting terrorists. Now how's THAT for suppression of speech.
Democrats are not communists--they're not even socialists. And don't call people names, especially when they're more aptly applied to yourself.

I see you are another that has bought into Bush's fear of the unknown. What a crock. If you voice an objection, you brand them Stalinists, traitors, terrorist sympathizers. Get a grip Bud . The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA was founded because of a king who allowed no objection to his rule. Freedom of speech came at a price. Because some see being in Iraq for all the wrong reasons as a mistake, they are traitors. Your logic means that all Republicans were traitors when Democratic Presidents were in power. Keep yelling louder or you might hear the voice(s) of reason.

And you live in what country? In America we have a Democratic party, but no Democrat party. Unfortunately the media in America is dominated by the money grubbing right wing conglomerates that own them. Professional, objective journalism is becoming a scarce commodity. These conglomerates are also doing very well at getting money out of the hands of working people, so you are right in that sense, there is stealing going on, just not as you described.

I think the "Stalinist Party" is a little over-the-top on extremism. They aren't THAT BAD (yet).
The "American Communist Party" would be more accurate.
