Yer I can only emphasise with you, try peanut butter instead, then if you live in a monkey free environment you should not encounter any problems. Glad to help buddy.

They will not be attracted to you if after you've smeared yourself in jam, you then freeze yourself. If the jam is frozen, they wasps will not smell the sugar and therefore leave you alone.

Or perhaps if you try something savoury, like Marmite, for instance. This could help you avoid the wasp problem but will be quite a bit more expensive.

Why don't you try using blackberry jam and lemon curd, smeared on in horizontal stripes? Then the wasps would think you were a big feck-off daddy wasp and would cease their buzzing in awe - you could conduct a naked wasp army. Just a thought.

Why don't you move to another area of the world without wasps. I suggest The Falkland Islands as the your favourite jam is probably available, it being part of the United Kingdom. The problem with this is you'll probably get covered in sheep, but at least they don't sting.

I agree with the sugarfree Idea, but you should also try different colors as well. Maybe a Grape Jam would work since it isn't a bright color.

Leave a dollop of jam away from where you are, the wasps should make a bee-line (get it?) for it, leaving you to your own devices...

Use a mosquito net outdoors........hang it from a tree, if all fails....use bug spray as previously suggested.....or maybe you should use diabetic jam
