A brilliant James Bond - he brings out the rough edges of the character and no Bond since Connery has done that to date - plus he's the first ever to be nominated for a BAFTA! That's gotta be saying something!

If Daniel Craig is Hot - I am in the wrong career..I will need to get on to a modelling agency ... The guy is a shocking actor... and god only knows how he wangled the part of Bond - all I can think of is - he must have put in the lowest tender for the job... The film was Premiered in London - and the DVD was released in the Barra's Market Glasgow the next day...the fastest Big Screen Movie that has went straight to DVD ...beating E.T.

Here in Mexico there are a few persons who like Daniel, because he isn't a celeb around here. Personally I like Pierce Brosnan more than any other James Bond in history (Sean Connery may be the exception). I don't think Daniel is bad, but he is not the best one.

I went to the pictures mainly for my husband, I've never been a huge James Bond fan! Always thought he was too cheesy and waaaaay too slimy with the ladies... But then I saw Daniel Craig, again i wasn't a fan, but after seeing him as James Bond, a super sophisticated special agent with a car as sexy as him, well... DING DONG!!!! It was the best, most exciting (in more ways than one), James Bond film ever! Can't wait to see it again! :)

Amazing! I thought he'd be bad, because I didn't think he was very attractive in the photos I saw before the movie. It is seriously my favorite Bond movie overall. He was way better than Pierce and Roger Moore. As for Bond himself, no one will ever match Sean Connery. I can't wait for more movies!

I nonetheless say there is no different who might want to be a extra useful Bond than Connery, next close ingredient might want to be Brosnan. I placed Craig a step above Roger Moore who became too flippant and informal to electrify.

He was amazing; he really captured the character for me more than other actors before him. He gave him edge and gave him weakness. He was a James Bond where I thought he actually existed since he got hurt both physically and emotionally and the ending shot of the film just oozes coolness.

Closest yet to Fleming's Bond, and excellent so far, but reserving full judgement until he's done his second outing, when we find out where he will take the character of the mysogenist, psychopathic loner that Fleming created. Let's hope the producers (it's their call really, don't forget) don't bottle it like the last time they tried to do the real Bond with Dalton (LTK) and got cold feet 'cos America didn't understand it!

Good. A great Bond but two quibbles about the film 1. why keep Judi Dench - confusing as she was around before. 2. Eva Green didn't strike me as especially attractive
