1) Are women really attracted by a man's car? (I think they are but they probably deny it).

2) How superficial is it of me to buy a car for its lady pulling ability?

3) Would it be wiser to get a cheaper more ecconomical car so as to save money for the future when I need it for starting a family etc.? Or should I splash the cash now?

1 ) Yes, some women are. I am an ordinary bloke but get lots of attention because of my car ( and money ). I'd say that was daft eh ? I tend to ignore them, its not why i've got the car.

2) Its not overly superficial. Dating is often a game and, as stated in answer (1), a decent car can be a joker card. If it gives you confidence, then it might be worth it for you. I bought my car because i wanted one, not because of any attention. Only you can be honest about your motives.

3 ) Splash out, a car is not for life, it can be sold.

Alternatively, buying a decent ( some say flash ) car is probably a good way of filtering out all those people that jump to incorrect conclusions. ( see answer below )

Well I am not impressed by blokes who buy a car thinking that'll impress a girl! I suppose there are some women out there who are impressed by the kind of motor a bloke has, but it is more to do with what the car represents rather the car itself. I suppose they believe that if a man has a flashy car then they must have lots of money which is what they are attracted to. Would you really want a girlfriend who is only interested in you money and/or your status. If you answer yes then I guess that makes you just as shallow as the girls who only wants you for your money (no offence intended here). I would say it is better to buy a cheaper car, and save the money towards starting a family and getting a mortgage! Don't you think they are more important??!! I'd rather be with someone who as their priorities set straight, then to be with someone who has a flashy car and spends all their money on it!!

As a woman, I have never been attracted to guys with sports cars. They actually usually seem pretty immature. They ruin their clutches all the time trying to sound cool. They also tend to care too much about their stupid cars, too.
They drive too fast to try to be impressive and then they whine and moan that the police are picking on them when they get pulled over for reckless driving.

Women who are attracted to this type of guy are shallow and you probably wouldn't want them anyway. And even shallow women aren't going to be interested in you if you're not as pretty as your car.

Also, a car isn't really going to increase your chances of getting women...whether it's superficial or not. It might turn more heads, but it's not going to find you a wife.

It would be wiser to get a cheaper more economical car. You'd probably attract wiser women who are more likely to want to start a family.

Also a car is going to depreciate in value really fast, so if you're concerned about saving money, you shouldn't buy a flashy car.

1. Only SHALLOW Women!

2. As SHALLOW as the TYPE they are Trying to Attract!

3. WISDOM = IS ALWAYS = the BEST CHOICE!

At one time I had a Kia Rio Cinco, with a 100,000 mile warranty and AC and a CD/AM/FM and it was good transportation and economical.

There is Just ME, and I now own a Volvo V70 Wagon. No I choose Not To get the TURBO! I get 24-mg around town and 31 on the highway! By the way, I drive the 70-mph limit on trips with the cuise control.

I have the extra room when taking friends on a trip and Plan to keep the car for at least 10-years!

Thanks, RR [Not Shallow HAL]

I'm not sure how old you are, but consider your age and at what point in time of your life you are in. If this is just a phase for you, you could be making a very expensive mistake. I would suggest with gas prices the way they are that you may want to consider economy.
No, women really do not care about cars. I would suggest that womens emotions at most age levels teen and beyond require emotional fufillment - not the type of car you drive.

people only bother with others that may be an advantage to themselves to know , ask yourself who in your life do you bother with that you would really rather not see , sometimes we may be tide to someone through family or by location but not through choice .

we seek out those whose company we enjoy or those who might in some way be capable of improving our lives for nothing more than selfish reasons .

if you help an old lady cross the road is it out of concern for her or because it makes you feel good about yourself ?

the false superficial side of us dictates who we are the true selfish side of us causes us to to become sensible once we have got what we want for no other reason than we want to keep what we've got .

wisdom and age come together and we realise to late what it is to be young . sell your mother an by a Ferrari !

Whorish women (and even many regular ones) throw themselves at guys with hot cars a lot. Why? Combination of a display of the means to afford one, as well as some women just liking hot cars, and thus the guys driving it. I see no problem with doing it, just realize the majority of floozies you attract with it won't be keepers.

you know what drives me crazy! when you see a person who has a car that they can not drive. I mean when i see soccer moms in M3s, seiously, do you have an M3 becuase a 325 or 330 isnt fast enough for you? or do you just have an M cause its the most expensive? could they even tell the difference, or do they just like to show thier money. that is so annoying. by the time ppl can afford fast expensive cars, they are too old to drive them fast. such a waste.

Depends what the car is and how old the man is.
If your too young with a flash car, people think daddy is rich and if your too old it looks like a mid life crisis.

men & cars hmmm. when I see a really flash car i kinda tend to think "*** h@le with no personality & a very small d#ck, therefore using car to attract what he cant get any other way".

You might want to rethink the flash car bit knowing that. Still if the cap fits?
