Does anyone have any insight as to how well Nintendo's online gaming will work??

I don't have much experience playing online other than PC gaming, and with the loading time when using the Wii shopping channel and every other online channel, I'm getting a little worried on how well gaming will be. I bought the system so I would be able to play online with all my friends back home (will you be able to play the new Super Smash Brother's with four seperate Wii's?!?!) Someone put rest to my fears!!

I for one really hope i will be able to play ssbb online and face some of the best.
