I have a 19" widescreen monitor for my PC. My current res is set to 1280x1024 and black fonts on white background appear fuzzy. I heard this was because of my resolution setting. What would be the best resolution for me to use?

Depends on the card and your Monitor.
Reload the Card Drivers, and the Monitor drivers, go down to a slightly lower res, and then work back up.

For a widescreen display, the recommended resolution size is 1280x960. 1024x768 will make ur display blurry.

The best thing you can go for is 1024 By 768. Its optimal.
