I don't have hamsters, but could you offer a treat you know the hamster likes? Or put its food where it can see it outside the VCR and when it gets hungry hopefully it will come out. And catch it quick before it goes back in again...
Good Luck!

Take of the front VCR flap, put in a lit king size cigarette/cigar, and smoke the thing out.
If it doesnt come out, atleast it will die happy.
Also, why do you still have a VCR machine?

Do you have a tape of Celebrity BB with Leo ("I'm in the same league as Elton John) Sayer?
Play it back. Not even hamsters are dumb enough to stick around listening to that.

Unplug it, first and foremost. If it went into the VHS tape slot, open the slot and shake some food in front (preferably in a container so it can hear all the food hitting the sides). Maybe if it hears the food, it'll come towards it to try and get it. Otherwise, you may need to disassemble it.
Good luck.

Put some lighter fluid in the vcr and light it. Make sure you stand back.

Line up your butthole with front opening and make kissy noises to attract the hamster. If it doesn't work go the pet store and buy a new hamster to stick up your butt. God bless.

You will probably have to take it apart, get him out, then replace the VCR because he has probably chewed on the wires and things.
How did he get in there?
