What happens when you plug it in - nothing?
Have you tried to open it manually from "My Computer"
You may have your USB drives disabled which needs to be changed via "Control Panel"
Also check that you have 2.0 USB connection drives (Speed)
Also try using the USB drives at the back oy your pc.... (or another location)

Are you using windows XP?
They show up in my computer as another drive image. like 'C' but with a different letter. It's making use of the plug and play ability of XP.
They are designed to work with XP, not earlier operating systems like 98.

haha did they slide it over the little magnetic security thingy when you bought it?
actually plug n play started around windows 95...so as long as you are using an os newer than that you should be fine. If nothing else take it back or just get a new one...they're becomming pretty cheap these days.

You did not say what version of WIndows you are using. If it is Windows 98, you have to install a driver before it will work. (Check the web site for the driver).

Try it on another PC. See if it is visible.
Alternatively, try it on another port on your PC, or plug in a USB device to the port you are using. If the Port works with the other USB device then your USB stick is dead

Try it on a Windows XP computer. If it works, and you haven't XP, 2000, Me, then find a driver using Google. Download it and install it.
