Breaking your hymen is in effect losing your virginity! The only reason to have hymen is that it is a proof you have been a good girl. Try not to break it and dont listen to the girls here... Believe me your first man will never forget that you were a virgin and you dont want to lose it to a piece of plastic...

Losing your hymen doesn't mean you are not a virgin. Yes, many activities can cause the hymen to be lost, but you are still a virgin until you have intercourse.
Tampons, riding horses, etc - these can all cause a broken hymen.

How the hell do you put a tampon "outside"? Virginity is specifically the first time you have sex with a man and he puts his penis inside you. If your question is actually "What can cause the loss of your hymen?" then there are many reasons including being born without one. If you put a tampon in then you probabble either never had one or you have lost it earlier for other reasons.

Being a virgin has to do with intercourse with a man---- The only thing that will take that away is being with a man. However the hymen is a membrane that can break with very little force. Even riding a bike can do it. Hymen does not equal virgin.

Breaking your hymen doesn't mean you aren't a virgin anymore. The only way to lose that is to have actual sex. There are plenty of ways to break it though. Using tampons, masturbating, and even excercise can break it. Not to worry though. Its not really something that you'll miss!

Masterbation will not cause you to lose your virginity. It can cause your hymen to break, but many other activites not involving sex can do that also. There has to be a penis involved in order for it to be sex or you losing your virginity.

Nothing else causes you to lose your viginity besides sex. You are a virgin until you have sexual intercourse, it has nothing to do with whether or not you break your hymen. If you do it doesn't mean that you are not a virgin.

maybe not. but there are some things we need to consider...
>virginity means purity... meaning nothing have entered you
>technical virgin: just like what i said...
>not virgin: is someone who has already sexual experience.
some people have thick hymens some don't. lucky for those who have thick ones because even they do some rigid things (like riding bike, horse riding or even long jumps) their hymen still didn't break but for those who have thin ones... maybe it would break easily...
> so, better go to your gyne and check if your till a virgin. because nobody can tell if they see it. right?

Masturbation without inserting anything in the vagina won't break the hymen, though I have *heard* that horseback riding or other vigorous exercise might.
Please note that losing your hymen doesn't mean you're no longer a virgin. It just makes it harder to prove that you are, but it really shouldn't matter to anyone.

breaking your hymen doesnt mean you arent a virgin.
you can only lose your virginity from having sex.
and lots of things can break hymens. and they are all different, so there is no answer that will be the same for everyone.
