My boyfriend of 3 years absolutely hates Valentines Day, he makes me pick out what i want and he will buy it. I want to get him something not necessarily Valentines related. Money is not really an option, i bought him a nintendo wii for our 3 year anniversary. He has everything and won't give me any hints. He says he doesn't want anything. What do guys like? I want it to be a big suprise.

If he hates it, why do you want to make him endure a gift he doesn't want? You'll just irritate him more if you force it on him.
Since it's important to you and repulsive to him, explain to him that it is important that you receive some sort of romantic gesture from him. That's fair.
Then do something really sweet for him that's not normally a V-Day gift. Wash and detail his car, iron some of his clothing, take him to Hooters, watch a horror film with him, etc. You should know him pretty well by now, so there's gotta be some sort of atypical service that he'd enjoy.
And if you're really determined to win him over, rename it Kinky Sex Day and celebrate it every year. He'll eventually come around.

I hate valentines day too. When do we (guys) get a special day where our gals have to do all kinds of special romantic things and spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on us. Admit it: V-day is a girls holiday (unless your a third grader).
Don't get me wrong. I love to do special romantic things, and buy nice stuff for my wife too. Having to do it is lame.
Its like having bankers day: a holiday where we make deposits into the bankers account to show that we appreciate him holding our money. Oh yeah, and the bank is closed.
The bank makes money off of our money constantly, why should they have a special day where we give them even more. And don't they take enough days off already?

Heather is right; give him the gift of you. I suggest that you dress sexy and do a strip dance for him. Use some sex toys on yourself while dancing too as he will get very turned on by watching you do this. He'll like that better than any other V-day gift and may start to like the holiday.

well im female but i can say if he doesnt want it dont give him anything. Go out on the town with him and have a nice night together. Go to your or his house watch a movie. and just be togehter.

You can never go wrong with a trip to Victoria's Secret. I plan on cooking my man's fav. meal, treating him to a long back massage with hot oil then slipping into something from VS.
