it appears that 'labor union' is the correct answer
This most likely is US history, perhaps in the mining industry
Corporations have existed before 1820
class action lawsuits (not sure when !?!) address grievances, not a barginning psoition
guilds are similar to labor unions, however guilds CHOOSE their members, unoins are made of the employs who are chosen by the coroporation. Also, guilds were formed around a special marketable skill, like glass making, tailors, scribners, a trade that takes years to learn. Unions rely on the employers for triaining, typically these skills are NOT transferable

I believe you should be able to work this one out. But here are some additional clues:

Guilds are medieval or earlier in origin. The first I can think of was formed in 884.

The 19th and 20th centuries (the 1800's and the 1900's) were important times for fledgling trade unions.

The corporation in its modern form is typically profit driven, and profits may demand longer work days and lower wages and compensation for workers.

The history of class action lawsuits begins in England around 1125.
