Is your pets health just as important as yours, more or less? Im studying to be a veterinary doctor.

I take my responsibilities as a pet owner very seriously, and keeping my cats healthy is extremely important. I don't know if I can rate it as more or less important than my own health... I suppose in a way I feel more compelled to take them to the doctor when they're sick than I do to take me to the doctor when I'm sick... If I ignore my own health 'cause I'm broke or lazy that's my choice, but they can't make the decision to not care for themselves. If that makes sense.
When you get a pet you're willingly taking on responsiblity for a living creature, not buying a toy, and that's not something to be taken lightly. If a person isn't going to take their pet's health seriously they should reconsider their reasons for getting a pet.

In my personal opinion, I think your own health is more important. With that said, I think that a pet is almost like having a child. It's a huge responsibility to take on, so you should care for a pet just as you would your child or family member.

My two dogs are very important to me. I consider my partner, family, friends and pets health before my own!!
My pets are more important to me than I am.

yes ur correct our pets health is just as important as ours . if we can save a life that would be just same whether its a life of a pet or a human
you know some thing?
vetinery doctor & a simple doctor is more or less same as both are trying to save the life of an organism...
you must be able to love your pets as same as that of your friends

There health is just as important as my own. Pets are a very big part of a persons life. You should treat them as such. If you think about it they can be more loyal to a person than other people.

I would go out of my way and endanger my own health to save the life of my pets. I have three cats and all of them mean that much to me.
