I really don't see the difference. It is my body, I should do what I want with it.

Remember, the world is overcrowded. I am just trying to save our planet.

Well, murder is bad both ways. Politicians like abortion. Why? Because it is freedom and it is right? No. Because it gets them votes from ignorant voters. Many think fetuses are just a clump of cells. Embryologists say life starts when the 23 chromozomes of the male combine with that of the female. But taking a pro-life stance might lose votes, and they dont wanna do that. I think the abortion issue will be re-done in a couple of years due to the amount of info we have learned since Roe v. Wade.

A mother can't choose to murder her child once it is a viable living breathing human being. A mother does have a right to make a choice as to what she will do with an early pregnancy. Yes it is a forming baby. Yet how will it be treated after it is born? I see a lot of injustice in the prolifers because they will force a woman to have a baby and then after that baby is born it is always a different story of who she is and who that child is and what their real lives are any way you go about it.

Murdering another is just that and no it is not your body and no you don't have the right to do that to anyone else, suicide is another thing. You do have the right to put yourself out of misery. After you are dead what are they going to do to you about it? If you are just threatening or don't do it in such a way that it is completed that is a different thing.

What you are doing is rationalizing. You are asking why it is not okay, as in legal, for you to kill someone, which you will not do, if it is legal for a woamn to have an abortion. Though the argument has some validity, it imisses the mark because abortion is legally sanctioned, while murder is not.
You would not be saving the planet, nor would you be deciding about your own body. The analogy does not truely fit.

A child in a woman's fetus is not a legal "person" because it cannot survive outside the mother's body (until a certainl time period has passed). That is the difference.

Because that some one is not your child. If you think the world is overcrowded then why don't you vacate your place by killing yourself. Charity begins at home.

What does your body have to do with killing someone on the street? I think the best answer would be to kill yourself so none of us would have to answer stupid questions like this again.
