He is self-proclaimed classy.

Why did people call him "classy" in the first place? I mean, what did he ever do to be named classy.

Cause what I've seen of him so far and from what I have continued to see, I beg to differ.

I don't think he should get an award but yeah he is a very classy guy for the NFL, right along with Tiki Barber and Donovan McNabb.

It seems a lot of people keep calling him a sore loser for what he did on Sunday. If he was a sore loser then he would have left the field without even going out there to congratulate the Pats. Fact is, he got upset. Do you blame him?

No after the way he handled himself following last weekends game. Dont get me worng here i was rooting for the charges all the way, but come on! What a soar looser! And then even into yesterday (monday) crying to the press about the pats celebration... Look, it was a horribl palyed football game and both teams were in it until the final seconds. Your not human if you dont get excited about a last second win to sen you to your conference championship! Its not like the pats pulled a TO and were stomping on the logo, or putting there flag into the endzone like michigan state. They were celebrating like the classy team they are.

I like the "self-proclaimed" part there - that made me laugh.

I actually like the guy a lot as a player because he has a great work ethic and doesn't celebrate every good play like he's just won the Super Bowl. That freakout he had yesterday was a little weird, but it was an emotional time.

Classiest player in the NFL? Probably some guy we never hear about, since we usually hear about the jerks.

Absolutely not. Class is basically an opinion. Their (Charger) player head butted a Patriot & extended a drive that led to points for the opposition in a playoff game!! The Chargers can't ignore this fact & talk about how they have more "class" than anybody.

He's just a young kid who played his heart out to win and was so deeply disappointed that he and his team lost, frustration set in and for a brief moment lost control of himself. It's really nothing more than that. Everyone needs to just move on. It's yesterdays news and should be treated as such.

I don't think that Lawrence Taylor has been in the NFL for a while. He wasn't that classy when he was in the league.
