I mean come on, he is one of the oldest and most famous toons in the Marvel Universe. Defender of Freedom and War Hero....Come on movie producers, quite making movies on lesser toons and lets see the real, old school heros!

Historically, Cap has been around longer than most other marvel characters, but his comics have never really sold as well as Spider-man, X-men, and the others for some reason. He just doesn't have as large of a fan base as the others, so marvel is probably still testing the waters with more well known characters first. Of course, there are already rumors about movies based around guys like Namor and Deadpool, so he'll probably eventually get redone as well.

Yeah, i'm with assorted the different posters right here. John Cena purely would not decrease it as Cap. How 'bout Mark Wahlberg? ...actually, i'm demanding on the subject of the thought of a Captain u.s. movie. the character's dress is so garish that it would not lend itself okay to a stay action production. it fairly is variety of like ask your self female that way. Linda Carter consistently regarded so cheesy on that coach. And any previous Captain u.s. videos have consistently made the dress seem terrible too. it will be difficult to pull off. yet optimistically they are able to regulate it.

If the 'He did' answer is correct then I am happy. Way back when I played some Role-playing games based on Marvel Comics and always chose Captain America and his BAD shield. The only one with no real super-power, just real good.

I would love to see him.

Take Care.

Ok...I want a better movie than that one. Can I be picky?

It's because more people want Spiderman, X-Men, and The Fantastic Four more. Probablly because he is an older comic book hero and people are more into the newer stuff. But, I agree with you. It would be cool if they made a movie with him in it.
Now looking around for it, this is what I found, http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=Captian+America
The one in the 1990's did horribly. Check them out though, maybe there are some good ones in there.

Lame character. I was a huge comic fan and Capt America was always my least favorite. Besides if they did him now it would be some silly updated version that fights terrorists or something. If the made a true to fiction version set in WWII and had him fighting Nazis I might be able to get into it.
