Can't we pick a little lighter subject? I have found that religion questions just stir up arguments.

True. Everyone has a different religion and different beliefs. Talking about it just raises arguments and bad feelings towards other humans.
*sigh* I'll never understand how one person can think that their way is the *only way*.
I love talking about God and Jesus, but I also am open minded enough to not diss someone just because they think differently then me!

A few are very thoughtful, some obviously to upset,but all mankind has questioned the existent of or nor of God. This is not a new subject. The greatest thinkers of all time ponder the possibility or the absolute of the subject. How have we arrived at such a spot that we have so many shallow people that think mainly of sex and the cutest movie star. how utterly boring.

It's an audience they would not have otherwise so, they can come here and spout their religion. If it upsets people like you, then it makes them happy because you start talking about religion and even making other posts about it bothering you.....just ignore the posts

Some people are curious. And if it's a good question, why not? Religion and politics are hard to discuss with people you know. It's easier to get strangers' input.

Because the God Squad inhere have yet to realise that they have their own little hideaway in the 'Society And Culture' section. It's great because if we go and invade their 'playground' they have a hissy fit about it.

Thats just it, people a lot of the time will post a question like that to start trouble, or its those bible thumpers with nothing else better to do.
