Loved the SG-1 series. Sadly they aired only the first series in our country and that was like when I was 14. About 10 years later I managed to get a broadband internet connection and well, you know the story from there onwards :) Managed to get hold of the first 8 seasons of SG-1 and then downloaded the 9 and 10 as and when they were airing. While I was looking for the 2nd season of SG-1, I stumbled across Atlantis. I checked their website and wasnt impressed at first, but then decided to download the epis just to check my internet connection. And that was the best decision ever. My favourite is McKay. Actually the McKay-Carson and McKay-Zelenka dialogs are pretty much my favourites. I think Shephard is doing a good job, but hes nothing like O'Neil.

Absolutely. It is a quality show that can only grow to fill the place of SG1 when it leaves the air this spring (Sob). I do love the humour on SG1 and I expect this one too will find it's funny bone. I hope it gets at least 2 more years before the plug is pulled. I wonder if the evil Ori will be dealt with solely on SG1 or if they'll find their way to Pegasus given that the evil born again Ori and the Ancients were once one.

It was a great series until they made the mistake of having an enemy that too closely resembled the Christain faith. The Ori were hitting too close to home with their evil domination. I wrote to warn them, but the mail to Canada is slow.

Yes, but only occasionally.

I prefer the self-depreciating humour of SG-1.

Yeah I do, think it is one of those programs that got off to a bit of a poor start but just keeps getting better as it goes along.
