It is a serious issue in our country. People get too upset when they are driving and don't realize that their temper could cause a serious accident. My daughter was involved in one of those accidents a year ago, when she was driving west bound, and there was 2 cars going the opposite way speeding because of road rage, when one lost control, and the man flew out the back windshield of his Ford Focus, and flew underneath my daughters car that was going the opposite direction! The man was killed, because of his temper, and thank God my daughter survivedt it all, except for what she went through emotionally! She was so upset, she never drives that same road anymore, she found a different way to go to work and back. You are absolutely right though, road rage is definitely a serious problem!

Because most people are lousy drivers, they hog the high speed lane, when they should be over to the right unless passing someone. They don't pay attention to what they're doing, they're talking on their cell phone, combing their hair, and other things that take their attention away from driving. Tailgating at 60 MPH is a real problem also, if something happens ahead, they can't stop in time. But the biggest reason is there are too many cars on the outdated roads, the freeways are parking lots at rush hour and eveyone is in a hurry. So everybody gets frustrated.

There are to many cars on the road and more people in such a hurry. I believe race also plays a factor.

Name calling, giving the middle finger and such has really angered alot of people. Alcohol and drugs should also be considered as a reason.

Well it seems that every time I get behind someone going 50 in a 65 or 15 in a 35 when I pass them they look a lot like a border jumping illegal alien. HMMMM...maybe they are going super slow because they know if they get pulled over and have no license or no insurance since they are ILLEGAL then they will get into trouble. Maybe they shouldn't drive. I personally always try to run these people off of the road when I see them because if they get into an accident there is no way for them to avoid a confrontation with the police hence they will go to jail and hopefully get deported for being discovered as an illegal. Its a lot of fun.

Because everyone is at the end of their rope dealing with every day problems such as the high cost of inflation. They just lose it and take all this anger and pent up frustration out on anyone who upsets them out on the road.

It happens everywhere, not just here, but I guess it happens MORE here, because a lot of people have attitude problems that they can't seem to adjust.
