ok, i just moved into my 1st crib(yay!!) so i changed my drivers licenz address to the new one. i have not recived it in the mail yet!! so can i still cash my check if the address on my paycheck is diffrent than the one on my licenz??

As long as the picture still looks like you I would bring your social security card just in case. The first thing you need to do is open an account and then you won't have these problems you can go for direct deposit if your job is set up for that. Hope that helps

The address on the check and the address on the ID do not have to match to cash a check. Although, the company you go to may have a strict policy.

What you need to do is open a bank account. Since you are in your 1 st crib (let's call that a home of your own) you need to begin paying the normal bills associated to it. You will want to deposit your check into your account so that you can pay your bills out of it.

Absolutely... The bank you do business with should have no trouble recognizing you as a customer, whether your address is different or not. People move all the time in the world!!! If YOUR bank causes a fuss about it, CHANGE banks immediately and find one that will treat better.

I've known people who haven't changed their driver's licenses for years after moving and it's never caused them to not be able to cash checks at their bank, as long as they had an account there and established already.

it shouldn't be a problem but you should try and deposit it in your own bank account if you aren't sure.

You should be able to if you have your own bank account.....
