I was thinking about selling my saltwater set up but had no idea what to ask for it.It is a 55 gallon, cast iron stand, fluval 105 canister filter, all the decorations and crushed coral(gravel),test kit, hydrometer, light, and hood. The fish are going to go with it and they are a yellow tang, a clown, and a blue reef chromis. Does anybody know what i should ask for this set-up?

I don't have a skimmer cause its a fish only tank, no live rock or reef.

If that's all that is included, I would suggest you ask around 500$, and take an offer that is as low as 400$.

If you have a skimmer and LR you could increase the price to 800$.

I would have to say for that size of a tank, $500-$600 would not be out of the question.

yes.. I used to work in a pet shop... The fish alone go for 3oo.oo dollers. The whole set -up you should go for about 5oo.oo.. I would tell them that you would be willing to set the tank up for another 100.00... good luck
