I understand what you mean both my controller sticks mucked up in the first couple of months (both small ones but official)

I know have older chunkier controllers which still work but no longer relly play on the xbox

I think it is something that microsoft has done wrong as i care for all my controllers!

It depends how he uses the controllers and how old he is if hes young hes probably breaking them but if hes older there may be a problem with the xbox

it depends on how aggressive of a player he is i can be pretty aggresive but the only thing that wares are the toggle buttons because i spin them around a lot but i have never had a broken controller so just ask him to stop throwing it around

im not techincal, but i got through a few xbox controllers cause i am not the most careful person... ask if he has been dropping them, throwing them around and just generally walking on them! that was my problem anyhoo!

watch how he uses them... it could be operator error...

however I've gone through four or five of the "DUKE" controllers... my big problem is the trigger buttons... if you know how you can take a controller apart and fix the trigger... it's not real easy... but it can be done.

i have no clue how the hell you could ruin an xbox controller, i have the microsoft one that came with it, i've had it for 3 years and it's fine.

That's really not normal at all. I'd ask your son how they manage to break, or watch him use his controller.

does he swing it round by the wire letting it hit the wall as thats the only reasonable explanation.
and how stupid do you have to be to buy him 2 controllers a month and not ask any questions
