Have you ever done something and get the feeling you've already done it (or something very similar to it) before? I have when I was small, I remember when I was doing something, and then suddenly remembering I've already done it in a dream I can't quite remember, it happened several times. Can someone explain this?

I have had this happen, too, my daughter and husband get it too. I had it happen more when I was young, like I would dream about someone wearing a certain outfit and they would wear it the next day or a phrase or even being somewhere. It is very weird - I don't know, maybe there is something else, something bigger, or smaller? going on.

Technically, it is when your memory lags behind your sensory perception, which will happen more and more as you get older. You are recalling things that did happen to you in your life, or in your dreams, but your senses recognize the situation before your memory does.
