First of all, I applaud your answers on my last question. But, why would you think that the whole talk about your feelings thing is lame? How is it lame? You can't just bottle up your emotions, which most people do because they're too ashamed of what people think of them.
Secondly, Metallica are not sellouts. They do what they do to expand their fan group. As I previously stated, the monster behind The Black Album-St. Anger has been fired, and I believe that he was the guy who gave Metallica their ideas for said albums. I applaud him as well even though he made Metallica nothing more than a flaming wormbaby obsessed with money...NOT!
Metallica can be whatever they want to be: they can be soft, THRASH METAL, or some other form of expression, but they don't have to listen to your whining about what YOU want, even though that's how Bob Rock got kicked out of the band. They're selfish and do what they want and I find that the most positive thing a band can do for themselvs. METAL LORDS!

Don't worry about what other people think about Metallica. For every hater there are probably 5 superfans. It doesn't matter what others think. They don't pick your music for you.

Metallica are sellouts, I've been with them since the beginning. At first they wanted to play harder, faster and louder, they wanted to make noise and be heard. They were underground with a good sound. Then they started getting noticed, and slowly but surely the studios started changing their sound away from their roots. That's still fine and all, but the really moment they sold out was when they sided with the record labels over the whole Napster thing. They crusaded to have Napster shut down. I understand that as an artist you have to protect your investment, and can't let people steal from you, but Metallica was making good money from record sales even with Napster, AND that could have been enlarging their fan base at the same time. The only problem they had was not getting paid for it. Makes me sick. The Black album is the a last one I will listen to, everything since that has been watered down radio music.

Good for them if that's the case because personally, I like the old Metallica. Though I'm not expecting that they would go back to what they used to be, I think it's better that they be in control. Now, that they have more freedom, I guess and I hope that it will be another season of new ideas that are fresh and more vibrant that will revive their musical superiority. I don't expect them to be famous once again because from what I see in stories of many bands, too much fame would destroy longevity. The higher they go up, the harder they fall (The House Jack Built? Sorta. hehe) and in the case of Metallica, their classics that really don't become very famous are the ones that you would want to play over and over again (Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, Kill'em All, & justce for all albums, you know).

It would be an exciting news for the band because it's possible that they could reach another "milestone" once again. However, I personally like Jason Newstead more as the bassist but the probability for him to come back I think is Zero. But it's just my personal preference, anyways, they're still fine.

aaaahhhhhhhhhh.......

It's an age thing man, they got rid of us (the folks who bought their records when they were underground), in favor for you (the ones who thought that "The Black Album" was their first record).

It's just a money thing, it's not bad of them for wanting to make more money, I understand that and would do the same thing myself. The problem is that they did EXACTLY what they said they would never do and that makes my generation believe that they sold out.

that's a glitch. purely like the single have been it says "thank you for vacationing! a million element (-7502 seconds in the past)". once you answer a question and it says you got 3 factors, verify your account because of the fact you purely get the two not the different one for "vacationing"
