as in the contact breakers what should the gap be in mm?

0.3-0.4mm but not entirely certain

I used to part own one of these, and although i never set the points my mate did all that, i'm sure it was 20/1000 of an inch 20 thou, sorry don't know it in mm.

In inches -- 0.012 - 0.016"
