Who cares what other people make. Don't compare yourself to someone else. My philosophy in life is that I have to spend 60% of it working and I will be doing something that I absolutely love no matter what I get paid for it. I am not saying that money is not important. We have to have it to live. There are many many miserable millionaires in the world than there are content and happy middle class Americans. I wish you the best and hope that you can find that job that makes you feel good. Stuff is just stuff and you can't take it with you, but you can make your mark on life by being the best you can be at what you choose. All you need in life is food, shelter, and love. The rest is just stuff you have to find a place to put and the more stuff you have the more you have to worry about someone stealing it. I love my life. I am a single mother and a nurse and I would not have it any other way. Of course if someone handed me a couple million I would not turn it down but I am content with what I have. I hope you can find that peace in your life because it is a nice feeling not being jealous of what everyone else has.
