If you have access to the internet & a printer, start there. I found this site that looks pretty interesting. I play piano & have found all kinds of music sources online --- free. Just have to fish around.

Maybe you could talk to your local high school band director and see what he/she says. The band director might be able to set you up with music or might know sources of music that you could afford.
